I’d rather be right than nice.

Throughout my life, I’ve been called many things, and not all of them have been flattering. One of my favorite nicknames used to be “Little Hitler,” with “Napoleon” coming in as a close second. However, when an angry individual mentioned they used to call me “Cartman,” I couldn’t help but feel a bit offended. Then, I reminded myself of who I am and where I’ve been.

While I can’t claim to have accomplished more than this angry person, I had to respond with a simple question: “Did the show or event ever go badly? No? Then kindly, fuck off!”

Tonight, I stumbled upon a quote that resonated with me and brought a smile to my face. It’s the kind of quote that I’d proudly display on my high school binder: “I’d rather be right than nice.”
